VoteRun Volunteer Driver Participant Interest requires first completing our one page confidential background check to allow VoteRun to provide a safe experience for drivers, riders and pedestrians. Only VoteRun, our national accredited background check agency and you will receive the results to our industry standard process. We will not sell or share your information. The results are provided only to you and VoteRun in no more than 48 hours but typically takes just a few minutes after your submission.

Your passion and values led you here and insuring your safety is our top priority. We will review your background submission immediately to expedite the process of volunteering. Our drivers are supported and guided to ensure that all parties have a safe and secure ride every time. At this time, VoteRun Volunteer Drivers minimum age is 24 years and you must be a legal US citizen. Your driving history will contribute to the assessment of being invited for a final stage onboarding meeting with VoteRun. If invited to become a VoteRun Volunteer Driver, you will be sent a link to schedule an onboarding meeting.

Following an onboarding meeting a determination will be emailed to you within 24 hours. In the onboarding you will be required to provide beforehand your insurance and vehicle details. You will also verify the required smartphone information to safely operate.

Our customer support team is available 24/7 to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have before, during, or after your ride.

5. VOTERUN RULES FOR VOLUNTEER DRIVERS

VoteRun requires that both Drivers and Riders wear seatbelts for their safety. We also ask that Riders please do not intentionally attempt to distract Drivers from safely operating their vehicles or to put themselves at potential risk with body parts outside of the windows of their vehicle transport. Smoking is also discouraged by both Drivers and Riders. Rules and conditions for operating with VoteRun are further explained and highlighted during onboarding before acceptance as a Volunteer Driver.
